Güero Brown is a Seattle-based alternative band drawing influence from David Bowie, Smashing Pumpkins, Faith No More, ELO, Tom Petty, and more. Band founder Jason Norman, aka Güero, is a Michigan native and graduate of Western Michigan University, where he studied foreign language and audio engineering. Güero Brown’s approach to music emphasizes diversity, musicality, and studio artistry. In addition to Güero Brown, Jason also performs with other music projects, including, in 2023 and 2024, Media House and Forest Ray. Güero Brown’s second album, Bläu, was mixed by Trevor Spencer of WayOut Studio in Woodinville, WA, and mastered by Ed Brooks of Resonant Mastering in Seattle.
