Güero Brown is a Seattle-based alternative band drawing influence from David Bowie, Smashing Pumpkins, Faith No More, ELO, Tom Petty, and more. Band founder Jason Norman, aka Güero, is a Michigan native, musician and linguist, speaking Spanish, French, Portuguese and German. The current lineup consists of: Güero Brown (vocals); Tige DeCoster (bass); Ben Loshin (drums); Lauren Hepburn (saxophone); Robert Keene (keyboards); and Michael Gutmann (guitar). Güero Brown’s approach to music emphasizes diversity, social justice, musicality, and studio artistry. Güero Brown’s most recent album, Bläu, was mixed by Trevor Spencer of WayOut Studio in Woodinville, WA, and mastered by Ed Brooks of Resonant Mastering in Seattle.
