Bio

Güero Brown is a Seattle-based alternative band drawing influence from David Bowie, Smashing Pumpkins, Faith No More, ELO, Tom Petty, and more. Band founder Jason Norman, aka Güero, is a Michigan native and graduate of Western Michigan University, where he studied foreign languages and audio engineering. Güero Brown’s approach to music emphasizes inspirational diversity, musicality, and studio artistry in the vein of Jeff Lynn and Steely Dan. In addition to Güero Brown, Güero also performs with other music projects, including most recently Media House and Forest Ray. Güero Brown’s second album, Bläu, is currently in the mixing phase with Trevor Spencer of WayOut Studio in Woodinville, WA.
